The country is one of the poorest in the world and the humanitarian conditions, in particular the availability of drinking water, are catastrophic. A detailed concept was developed to sustainably improve the local drinking water supply.
By drilling new wells, we can provide initial aid for clean drinking water. STÜWA is providing the well construction materials and pump technology for this project in addition to the volunteer labour.
