Quartz Filter Gravel
Application:
Filter gravel is poured into the annulus space between screen and borehole walls. It is used for retaining fine sands from the surrounding formation.
The filter gravel is selected according to the screen analysis.
Filter gravel is standardised, i.e. it must possess a round, not sharp-edged composition, to avoid obstruction of the screen slots.
Filter gravel for well-drilling compliant to DIN 4924 and EN 12904
Composition:
- Natural quartz sand and gravel

Filter gravel is also used in screens for drinking water purification.
